Steel Mill Equipment Operation

A cold rolled steel mill in New York State had an accident where a worker was injured while working on a rewinding operation on a steel processing line. This consultant was retained as an expert by for the defense by the steel mill operator. Consultant visited the site and by the analysis of the equipment dimensions and the operating practices of the machinery proved that the machinery was safe in its proper operation and that worker was at fault.
