Two Kevin Kennedy Associates staff members volunteer at local humane society

Two of our staff, Erica Hungerford and Ashley Hicks, volunteer their time to the Hamilton County Humane Society located in Noblesville, IN. Ashley focuses her efforts with dogs, helping to walk the animals, clean kennels, and show them off at adoption events around Indianapolis and surrounding areas. Erica works with cats, fostering sick cats in her home, and coming in to help clean cages and assist with off site-events. Recently, Ashley attended an event at a local veterinary clinic to promote adoptions for HCHS’s dogs and other animals. Erica helped run the contest table at Woofstock, the annual dog “pawty” event, held to raise funds for the shelter and to let other dog owners come enjoy a day out with their dogs.

Hamilton County Humane Society is a not-for-profit shelter with a mission to save every adoptable pet. Due to their efforts to save every animal they can, the shelter is almost always over capacity, and in need of foster homes, volunteers, and donations. Ashley and Erica know that even the smallest amount of time dedicated to the shelter helps in achieving a happy and healthy life for each animal.
