This expert assisted a large publicly-traded US retailer to comply with an SEC request and produce its email communications. The problem was that a large part of email archives was stored in an outdated email format that could not be produced using existing computer forensic tools. The expert had to analyze the structure of the storage of that email system and develop a custom software program written in C# that extracted data from the archives and converted to one of the modern email formats. The expert then led the production of the data using the newly developed program.
