Was Member of Scientific Computing Research Center (SCOREC) that focused on adaptive solvers for partial differential equations and multiscale and multiphase simulations. Co-author and co-Principal Investigator in major SCOREC grants. Received support from National Science Foundation, DARPA, Office of Naval Research, U.S. Army Research Office, Air Force Office of Scientific Research, NASA, International Technology Alliance, IBM Corp., CISCO, Hewlett-Packard. Overall external grant support exceeded 20 million dollars.
