Calculated, designed, inspected, documented and provided related data for projected project cost. Participated in route selection by studying aerial maps and physically traveling all proposed routes, gathering any data needed for environmental impact and cost estimates. Developed “Lump Sum Bids" for contractor bidding purposes. Assisted in right of way disputes/ obstructions and helped find cost effective re-routes, around and through those areas. Was responsible for all aspects of Horizontal Directional Drilling. Calculated all drills and designs using field calculations, as well as Atlas Bore Planning Software to validate initial calculations. Approved individual drill by type and length for payment. Negotiated any discrepancies with contractor. Insured that all drills and drill sites conformed to permit and company specs. Handled all customer complaints to assure customer/ company satisfaction.
