Traveled to Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and conducted research on synthesis of laser induced amorphous surface structure. Formerly Associate of Caterpillar Inc. manufacturer of excavator, oil drill, heavy-duty conveyor. Identified, initiated and led and managed cost reduction and quality and performance improvement projects in material, process and supplier selection, and design. Performed failure analysis, customer complaints analysis and supervised in field component repair. Tested and analyzed materials and products. Developed and introduced new testing methodology for new and existing products. Introduced in situ microscopy for large, in field or repaired components.
