Eric Langberg is a senior engineering professional and Registered US Patent Agent with over 22 years of expertise in new product development, including development of consumer and commercial products. His years of experience in senior engineering management provide a wealth of knowledge in a broad range of areas including product development processes, manufacturing processes, components, reliability, compliance, failure analysis, returns analysis, quality control and outsourcing. Prior to entering the consulting field, Eric spent 19 years in product design and development for consumer and commercial companies including Altec Lansing Technologies, Thomson Consumer Electronics, and Mikron Instrument Company, with significant experience in audio and microprocessor based product development. He has more than a dozen years of experience developing products for production in the Far East including Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and China.

Eric’s considerable experience in all aspects of product design and development provides him the ability to rapidly analyze problems and help identify cost-effective, practical solutions. Eric has been awarded ten patents by the United States Patent and Trademark Office, has numerous others pending, and was responsible for establishing and maintaining Altec Lansing’s Intellectual Property Policy.
