Electronics Patent Portfolio Review

This consultant reviewed a patent portfolio of over 300 patents in the electronics field. Using a customized rapid review and ranking process, the consultant was able to sort through the portfolio and identify those patents with the most value for licensing purposes that were not critical to the client's own businesses. These patents were then grouped into related categories and presented to a number of licensees also identified by the consultant as part of this project. One key patent critical to major litigation was sold immediately while several other groups were successfully licensed resulting in significant income to the client. All of the critical patents were reviewed in detail with a report issued for each of the critical patents detailing the value and use of the patent. This was done to assist in the marketing of the portfolio.
