The Challenge

It was very difficult for engineers and designers to relate what & how changes to any system on a truck would impact the rest of the systems from feasibility, costs, FMEA risks, tests, etc.

The Solution

We created dependency and impact analysis DB that indicates when changing any part of a truck, what other hardware will be impacted, chances of failure, importance, costs associated with testing, the different available tests, and the mandatory tests.

Another module enables the engineers to indicate a function or hardware of the vehicle to improve, and the software will list all the parts that will need to change to achieve that, the required DV testing, and the testing cost.
