Contractor Claim Not Required To Be Paid

A contractor was terminated on a major multi-unit residential project. The contractor filed a claim against the owner / developer (Client). The investigation confirmed that the claim was for work that was not in conformance with the project documents. Additionally it was found the contractor had used unqualified workers and had not properly supervised the project. The client was not required to reimburse the contractor for the $350,000 claim.
